Hey guys! My names Samantha Collins, but most people call me Sam or something along those lines. haha Im from Sammamish, Wa, and yes people call me Sammamish all the time as well. I went to Eastlake High school and have played softball my whole life..that is until college. I was on varsity all three years of high school and was captain my senior year, the same year we won 4A state champs! :) I have lived on the lake my whole life and love ever single moment of it! My family is really close and probably the most spastic out of anyone in the world. I am a big animal lover especially dogs. I have a long haired miniature daschund and he's the cutest little guy in the whole world! When i was in fourth grade i taught him how to sneeze on comma and and its prolly the funniest thing to watch him do. It was a great ice breaker in high school ;) haha. Im a sophomore right now...cant believe it already. I have mixed feelings about being at WSU, but im putting up with it as of right now. Im going for a Business Administration major and hopefully one day owning my own company, but we shall see where life takes me! I enjoy writing especially things that interest me...I have had a journal my whole life, well since the fourth grade and love looking back and reading what i had to say throughout my life.
Sounds like we are going to get along great! that is fun that you played softball, it always looked life fun to me! I like the name Sam! I understand what you mean about not sure how you feel about WSU, I am in the same boat as your sort of. It's hard being so a far away from the ones you love, it is really hard. Now more then ever i see that. As the year goes by (very quickly) you see the more options you have in life. Business Administration is very exciting, we have an awesome program here at WSU for that! I am glad i got to know a little bit about you! Have a good weekend and a safe drive to and from.
ReplyDeleteWow state champs for softball, thats big. I think I'v wrestled at Edmonds for regionals last year, but I cant really remember haha. Anyways Its good to see that your close to your family. I hate people who yell and disrespect their family members; families should be close and caring. I like how you want to own a business, it seems like thats mostly what a guy would desire. I too want to start my own business. I know its going to be hard work and take lots of time, but It sounds like your really goal oriented so you should have no problem.
ReplyDeleteMy high school went undefeated during my junior year, before they lost in the state championship in 3A. Winning it must have been an awesome feeling. Did you like your freshman experience? You obviously survived, which is an accomplishment in itself. I have always wanted to own my own business someday. But that is easier said than done, as we all know. Hopefully WSu will grow on you more and you will begin to enjoy it here.
ReplyDeletehaha well my freshman experience was interesting. I decided that second semester it was more fun to drink than anything else so me and my friends seriously drank way too much but it was a learning experience....one that i hope i never have to relive. All in all i enjoyed my freshman year...i dont think wsu is for me but college in general is awesome!
