I did my rhetorical project through post secret. For me i believe it was the most effective! Although all of the different ways allow for the viewer to analyze the image in their own way I felt that post secret would enable me to show my thoughts the best. Each of the different ways can allow words and images but post secret is the most simple to me and can be the most vague allowing for more interpretations. I would not have changed what i did for the project. I loved using my creative side to show my "secrets." Using a still picture allows the onlooker to be able to see the message for a longer period of time allowing for the most detail to soak in.
That is the beautiful thing i think. That you are able to show the readers how YOU feel, and they can take what they want with it. I didn't do post secret but it seemed like a fun choice. Your right about the soaking in, it does make you really think about something in details!
ReplyDeleteYes i agree. Post secret was the best way to show your message. I did it as well. Its easy using postcards because you can use not only words but pictures as well to help depict your secret. The main object was to attract the reader and try to get them to relate to your secret and post secret was the best may in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteYour argument as to why you thought postsecret was the best, had some great points. I do believe that the video is easier to show things to the viewer, but not the creator. It is harder to make a video because you have to have 3 minutes worth of relevant clips. I feel, though, that with something like this, you wouldn't want the viewer to have multiple interpretations of your secret. Then they could get something out of it that is wrong.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Post secret was the most fun way too. I like the post secret you put up it is really cute and reminded me of my little sisters. It is pretty cool how people look at things so differently when it comes to post secret and a lot of times they have personal meanings that bring the "onlooker" back to a certain time or place in their life and really has the ability to make them feel something about the subject.
